Size and Fitting Guidelines

Clip-ons only work if they match the lens, not the whole frame.

Take your spectacles off and sit them on a table, lenses up. With a ruler, measure:

• Width — left to right at the widest point of one lens
• Depth — top to bottom at the tallest point of the same lens

Choose a clip 1–3mm larger on both measurements. That is how the hardware catches the rim. A clip the same size as the lens, or larger, will perch and slip. Our Oversized Clip ons are designed to fit most frames

Fit-overs are different: they go over the entire frame, so you do not measure the lens the same way.

Measure Your Current Frames

• Full Width: Measure the full length horzontially from to end end.
• Lens Width & Height: Measure the vertical  & horizontal width of one lens at its widest point.
• Bridge Width: Measure the distance between the lenses, from the inside edge of one lens to the inside edge of the other.

Consider Your Face Shape

• Oval Faces: Most styles work well, but oversized or wide frames are particularly flattering.
• Round Faces: Rectangular and geometric frames add definition and balance.
• Square Faces: Round or oval frames soften angular features.
• Heart Faces: Look for frames that are wider at the top and narrower at the bottom to balance proportions.

Check Frame Size Labels

Frames often come with size labels (e.g., 52-18-140), representing lens width, bridge width, and temple length in millimeters. Use these measurements to compare with your current glasses or sunglasses.

Adjustable Features

Look for frames with adjustable nose pads and temples for a customized fit. This is especially important for maintaining comfort during extended wear.
